NORTHERN HEART AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT

A highlight of the event was the participation of teams traveling from Whitehorse, Yukon. Making the long journey south to Edmonton, the out-of-town contenders brought incredible energy and true northern heart, earning high praise from organizers and spectators alike.

The tournament owed much of its smooth execution to the dedicated work of the officials and organizing team. Special recognition was given to Ariel Nealega, JJ Batao and Gary Perpetua Heads of Operations and Technical Committee, for managing the intricate tournament schedule and technical logistics behind the scenes. Organizers also extended warm appreciation to the Edmonton-based referee and officials crew for maintaining exemplary officiating standards throughout the games.

CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The event’s success was made possible through strong backing from presenting sponsors Pinoy Auto Loans and Crosstown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, alongside community partners including Acez Sportswear and Awards, Emerge Sportswear, and Doctolero Accounting Services.

On-site food vendors McLaines and entertainment by DJ MC kept energy high throughout the venue. Media and community partners—including the Alberta Filipino Journal, Alberta Chronicle, YYC Athletes, Chowkeni, JCRV Catering, Palabok House, Manila Grill West, Mr BTK, CMJ Immigration, and Loida Lumanlan Realty—played a vital role in elevating the tournament's presence.
